Instructions

Operating the log burner in the lounge is simple but please follow these important steps:

• Light the fire using the fire starter, kindling and logs provided. Watch this VIDEO for a simple guide.

• A full load of logs will last 1-1.5 hours.

• Logs should not touch the baffle or the glass panel.

• The fire gets hot! Make sure you use the gloves provided to operate the dial and handle. Keep children and pets well away at all times.

• Never burn anything other than seasoned dry wood, it won't get hot and it creates tar deposits in the flue. If you need more wood, this can easily be purchased from within Keswick.

• The dial under the stove controls air flow. Turn clockwise to the open position when lighting and then adjust after 20-25 mins of operation.

• Make sure that flames are visible above the wood for a nice clean burn.

• Make sure the door is closed when operating.

• Wood burns well on a bed of ash so there should need to empty it during your visit.
